Who the hell is Seven Deuce?
Seven Deuce Alliance was started by Paul Morris a small-town country boy who grew up in a town of less than 5,000 people just outside of Memphis, TN. You could say Paul is a bit of a motorsport’s enthusiast and gym rat. Paul picked up the number 72 during his varsity football years playing Highschool Football. Unknown to him and what seemed like an insignificant number at the time it would later reveal itself to become the creed by which he lived by. See Paul was never supposed to play football or any contact sport for that matter. Not after he suffered a traumatic brain injury in middle school that caused him to have a focal motor seizure. The doctors told him he would never play football again. That came only a year after he suffered a knee injury that the doctors thought surely would affect his ability to walk normal again much less run. Refusing to accept the cards he was dealt Paul overcame both injuries and later went on to be named Best of the Preps and all-region his senior year. Paul recently became a nationally qualified bodybuilder even after sustaining more than one injury that should have knocked him out of bodybuilding for good. Refusing to accept defeat he presses on towards his goal and dream of being on the national stage one day.
Reason behind the name:
Let's face it if you live long enough life is eventually going to deal you a bad hand. Just like in Texas Hold'em where being dealt a seven two off suit is considered the worst hand to start with. Mainly because there is so few good options available to you: you have no straight draw, no flush draw, and even if you wind up with a pair of 7’s or a pair of 2’s you’re unlikely to have the best hand.
Seven Deuce Alliance is for the men and women who share a belief that you only lose when you give up. Those who refuse to give up on their goals and dreams no matter what cards they start with in life or what cards life deals them. Life is not always a matter of holding good cards but learning to play a bad hand well.
Simply put “Play the hand you’re dealt as if it were the hand you wanted." AND "Defy the odds.” If that ideology resonates within you then we are a brand for you.
Our goal:
CEO and founder Paul Morris absolutely loves great T’s and has dreamed of having his own apparel brand since he was in college. In fact, he would prefer to wear a good T-shirt over anything else. He is also very particular about his T-shirts. Not only must he like the design and style but they must fit good too. Our goal with Seven Deuce Alliance is to create rad lifestyle T’s and apparel that not only looks cool but fit well too.
